Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park
The Patawomeck Indian Tribe has leased 17 acres of land adjacent to Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park on State Route 3. This property will be used as an educational museum and cultural village.
Located along the Rappahannock River, this park is open year round and contains lighted and irrigated baseball/softball and soccer fields; restroom and concession buildings; pavilions; playground; 0.9-mile trail; and river overlook.

There’s a lot to like about this Ferry Farm Park, including six lighted rectangular fields (four synthetic) for youth soccer and lacrosse; pavilions; paved trails; restrooms; parking lots; and an observation deck overlooking the Rappahannock River.
The park also boasts the most impressive 2.4-mile paved path that connects two of its three parks. Other attractions include a 2.2-mile hiking trail and a Scenic River Overlook. Fishing & Boating
Whether you enjoy fishing or boating, you can find plenty of opportunities at Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park. The park consists of 60 acres of open fields and prolific woodlands along the Rappahannock River southeast of Fredericksburg.
There is a beautiful observation deck overlooking the river. This is a perfect spot to watch for wood ducks and belted kingfishers.
It is also an excellent place to watch for dragon- and damselflies, which are abundant in the area during the winter months. The area also attracts osprey and bald eagles.
Besides the lake, there is a boat ramp on the river for those who want to fish (VA fishing license required). There is also a picnic area with grills and portable restrooms located in the park.

This 60-acre park located on the Rappahannock River southeast of Fredericksburg is one of the most beautiful parks in Stafford County. It features an observation deck along the river that provides a great opportunity to look for wood ducks, belted kingfishers and dragon- and damselflies in summer.
The park has lighted baseball and soccer fields, as well as a regional dog park and playground. The park also offers restrooms, picnic pavilions and a trail system.
Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park is located on James Ashby Pkwy, a short 0.3 mile walk from SR 3/Blue and Gray Pkwy in Falmouth. It is named after Duff McDuff Green Jr. who gave the park to Stafford County as part of his estate. Henderson Farms is currently farming the land.
Dog Park

There are two parks at Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park and both are separated by a fence, with the large off-leash park surrounded by woods on one side. There are also sports fields and nature trails that run through the woods along the Rappahannock River.
Dogs are allowed at Duff McDuff Green Memorial Park, but they must be leashed near sports fields and parking lots. They also need to be on their best behavior and must be under complete voice control at all times. The area is well-maintained and has plenty of water and waste bag dispensers for visitors to use.
